All appeals must be received within 28 days from the date of our initial correspondence.
Each Notice must be appealed separately, if submitted via our website.
Please be aware, you will lose your right to appeal if payment is made.

You will need to include your full name and address, vehicle registration number, Parking Charge number and your reason for appealing the charge.
Include any evidence that you think will support your appeal. Please only send copies, we do not need to see originals.
Examples of evidence to support appeals:
Once your appeal has been received the Parking Charge will be put on hold. We will send an acknowledgement within 14 days and respond with the outcome of your appeal within 28 days. Payment must not be made at any point, if you wish to appeal, this also includes once you have submitted your appeal, or your appeal will not be considered. If your appeal is declined you will be given the right to pay the rate applicable when the appeal was made, for a further 14 days.
If you have not heard from us within 28 days, do not assume that your Parking Charge has been cancelled, please contact us to check the status of your Parking Charge. This can be done via our chatbot function on the the website - Click on the "Live Chat" button located on the banner at the top of our homepage.

Should your appeal be declined, you will be provided with details of how to further appeal to the Independent Appeals Service, POPLA (Parking on Private Land Appeals), along with a unique reference number. POPLA applies in England, Wales and Scotland. (Only applicable to the Driver in Scotland).

You will lose the right to any discounted amount previously offered, should you choose to appeal top POPLA. No payment is to be made before or during an appeal to POPLA. If a payment is made, you will no longer be able to pursue your appeal, and it will not be considered.
Once your case has been reviewed you will be notified and should POPLA conclude that the notice has been correctly issued, you will be given 28 days to pay the full amount of the charge.
POPLA will not accept an appeal if you have not appealed to Britannia Parking in the first instance. Please see our Appeals Policy for full details.
Please be aware you will lose your right to appeal if payment is made, this includes once you have submitted your appeal, or your appeal will not be considered.

Please have your Parking Charge Number, Vehicle Registration and Payment Card details ready and follow the instructions on how to make a payment.

If you were not the driver on the date of the contravention, please complete the transfer of liability form on the back of the Parking Charge and return to our registered head office address - Britannia Parking, 7th Floor, County Gates House, 300 Poole Road, Poole, BH12 1AZ.

A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction about the products/services offered by Britannia Parking or staff, or the action or lack of action taken regarding operations, facilities or services provided by Britannia parking or by a person or body acting on behalf of the company.
Please do not email complaints to submit an appeal. Your email will not be acknowledged or actioned upon. If the complaint relates to a Parking Charge, please use the appeal process detailed above.
